It's been a horrible weekend. I seem to get one blow after another. I've cried and cried about how unfair all of this is. I went in for my ultrasound this morning, and while I have 4 eggs that would have been ready to go (this is good, good news - my body responded to the clomid better than the blood test indicated), the medication caused my uterine lining to be too thin. They couldn't trigger the eggs to release because even if the fertilized, the lining would have been too thin to hold a pregnancy. So we're going to check again tomorrow and see how the lining has grown. It has to be 8mm and mine was 4mm, so hopefully that will change a bit.
This cycle may be a bust, though we'll still try to give it a shot on our own tonight.
